Sean McFarland’s recent exhibit at Baer Ridgway Gallery presented a hauntingly beautiful series of photographs of nature at its most sublime and majestic.

In particular, I was moved by his series of miniature black and white polaroid photographs, which hark to an Ansel Adams approach to nature photography. Within a contemporary context, McFarland’s work had resonance resonance in today’s hyper-technological times.
