Hank Schmidt in der Beek is an old friend from Munich. He is one of the funniest and brilliant young artists I know. I love his stuff. He makes you laugh, and if you’re ever lucky enough to spend a night out with him, you’ll be strutting through the streets singing songs at the top of your voice you never thought you knew.
FOR CREATIVE INSPIRATION
In partnership with our friends at Optus, we present the third in a three part Lost At E Minor video series that puts the spotlight on some young, handpicked Australian creatives, doing inspirational things within their chosen fields. Episode Three features 16-year old Melbourne-based producer, Gab Strum (aka Japanese Wallpaper), who has racked up thousands of plays over the past year or so via a number of well-blogged remixes ranging from City Calm Down and The Townhouses to bootlegs of The xx and Bon Iver.
