MP5 + TO/LET are a collective of three girls from Rome and from Bologna who have been working on installations and graffiti since 2006. This graffiti was created in Medika, a new squat in Zagreb, Croatia. They were invited there for the Vox Feminae Festival, and this was painted in four days in the main entrance. Read more
I can’t express to you how much I love tacos. I also love music. Therefore, Album Tacos makes me very happy. If I worked a soul-crushing office job, I’d spend a lot of my work day scrolling through this blog and trying to come up with a few of my own.
Kamrooz Aram is an Iranian-born artist that lives in Brooklyn. Pattern plays a big role in his work and he plays with iconography a lot. His series of paintings that have a greenish, night-vision goggle hue are pretty terrifying. Angels and hawks circle around Persian clouds and the point of view seems to be from an American soldier.
An intelligently told, morally complex tale with a raft of unexpected twists, Gone Baby Gone is one of the most original films of recent times. Most films give you a sense of their narrative arc and it is easy to recognise the major plot points. Read more
Forget about the giant Nazca lines that can only be seen from space (ooohhh, spooky), this effort from Argentine farmer Pedro Martin Ureta to create a guitar from 7,000 cypress and eucalyptus trees is even more mind-bending. Read more
