I figured Charlie Brown was kind of emo, but I really should know he’s more old-school than that. While Chuck lacks the impressive coif of Morrissey, Moz’s lyrics fit into Peanuts comics all too well, as evidenced by This Charming Charlie. ‘I would go out tonight but I haven’t got a stitch to wear’ takes on a whole new meaning when you consider that Charlie Brown has worn the same shirt for his entire existence.
