Earthlings is a 2005 movie about humanity’s use of animals as pets, food, clothing, entertainment, and for scientific research. The film is narrated by Joaquin Phoenix, features music by Moby and is directed by Shaun Monson and co-produced by Maggie Q. Watch this regardless of your opinions on meat eating. It will open your eyes to what is really on your plate.

On our sister site, My Secret Playlist, we invite our favorite musicians, DJs and producers to write about eight songs that are inspiring them right now. You can hear some of the tunes that the artists select and discover a whole heap of cool music along the way. Coca-Cola Light is getting a new, more sophisticated attire. The soft drink is teaming up with Italian fashion house Gianfranco Ferre to create this new packaging. These four Coca-Cola Light bottles will be released in the coming weeks. Tasty? Well, at least the packaging is.
There isn’t much to be said about these photos, they speak for themselves. I find myself revisiting them every other week or so just to be reminded of their brilliance. Australia’s largest private museum will soon have some super futuristic and luxurious accommodations for guests. These awesome structures, designed by Nonda Katsilidis, definitely aim to reflect the art housed in the museum with their hyper modernist look.
Oh man! Now I’ve seen it all. An entire blog dedicated to cupcakes, those perfect little bundles of sweet, sweet goodness. Hell, my mouth is watering just looking at them. What will they think of next? A blog about pretzels? Ha! Oh, wait a minute. Damn!
If you ever happen to find yourself riding across the mid-west on horseback with an iPod jangling about in your holster, be sure to let Calexico soundtrack the experience. They’re cleverly fusing a range of genres, mixing some good old country with US indie, a bit of jazz and even, in 2003’s Feast of Wire, some smatterings of electronica. Lead singer Joey Burns gives a healthy amount of cowboy twang and the soaring orchestral background and sweet country guitar licks add a real atmosphere to the music.

Carrot Rabbit loves kids, very, very much. They play, sing, karaoke and cook. He’s about to develop CR Land, just for kids. CR are childrens’ best friend, for sure. A special UV ink printing method makes the “raspberry” stain visible on those cute childrens’ faces if they get directed to the sunlight.
