The tilt-shift miniature thing has been pretty hot lately amongst photographers, but until Keith Loutit’s amazing videos, it’s seldom been seen as moving images. Loutit’s films make humans seem insignificant, small, and toy like, much in the ways William Turner and Thomas Cole did in the 19th century.
German artist Flora Hitzing has incredible control of her watercolor drippy droops, allowing them to soak and smear into beautiful organic forms. Read more

This awesome promo video for the Lost At E Minor site was created by our friends over at New York-based design studio, Lifelongfriendshipsociety. It’s all about looking into a black mirror and seeing the creative energy burst back out at you. We think it’s very cool and the first in what we hope will be a series of short videos exploring what it really means to be lost at e minor. Hit us up if you’d like to have a go at creating one.
I interviewed the mysterious Suitman some time ago for the Australian magazine, Riot. Even then it was clear that, with his immaculately pressed suit and crisp white shirts, he was an icon – both stylistically and conceptually. Now this is fun. This 3D watch dial actually jumps to life. The dial is a modern version of the 19th century art form of lithophanes: carved porcelain sheets that, when lit, deliver astoundingly detailed images. When the pusher is activated, the dial springs to life in 3D, with an LED light and afterglow effect. Read more
