On the back of the release of their debut album, Wicked Man’s Rest, Mike Rosenberg from UK group Passenger gave us the rundown recently on the eight songs that are inspiring him most right now. He started off by propping the Radiohead track, All I Need [listen below]: ‘In Rainbows blew my mind. How can Radiohead still be the best band in the world? Experimental but always remaining true to brilliant songs, everything they touch oozes taste. A truly brilliant song from a remarkable band’. Read the rest of Mike Rosenberg’s Secret Playlist.

My town is one of foghorns at five am, the smell of salty air and the sound of seagulls, Peets coffee, steep hills and die hard fans and loyalists. For instance if you type the word “I” it will play Chris Isaak singing that word in the song Wicked Games. If a word cannot be found, you can enter a song which contains the missing word and expand the library.

Scanners’ new single Salvation
I love this track by London based rock group, Scanners, which is off their latest album, Submarine. Having toured with acts such as The Horrors, The Wedding Present, The Charlatans, Electric Six, and Juliette & The Licks, Scanners could well blow up in 2010. Figuratively speaking, not literally. No, that wouldn’t be fun.
