Every now and then I see a piece of art that sets off a chain of fireworks in my head. Micah Lidberg’s art does just that. His psychedelic sci-fi doodles are explosions of colour, texture and pattern. There is no focal point in many of his drawings, so your eyes are left wandering across the landscape of the page. His website is a feast for the visual culture voyeur.
FOR CREATIVE INSPIRATION
In partnership with our friends at Optus, we present the third in a three part Lost At E Minor video series that puts the spotlight on some young, handpicked Australian creatives, doing inspirational things within their chosen fields. Episode Three features 16-year old Melbourne-based producer, Gab Strum (aka Japanese Wallpaper), who has racked up thousands of plays over the past year or so via a number of well-blogged remixes ranging from City Calm Down and The Townhouses to bootlegs of The xx and Bon Iver.
