If you have a fear of the underground, you don’t want to hear about the Arsenalna metro station in Kiev. Not only does the escalator take you underground to catch the train, but it travels more than 100 metres, making this the deepest metro station in the world.

There’s an Instagram account showing off cute guys on the Paris Metro… and it’s kinda creepy

It might be sexist. It also might be a tad (a lot) creepy. But if someone’s going to go to the effort and create an Instagram account and fill it with pictures of cute guys (Parisian guys at that!) on the Metro, I can’t help but support the cause.

Underground art in Stockholm Subways

In Stockholm, Sweden, metro stations are decorated like big, underground art museums. The colorful painted ceilings are a stark contrast from American subways, which aren’t exactly the most pleasant places to be. Within the Stockholm subway systems, you can find large art installations and painted murals all throughout the cave-like tunnels. Now you have a reason to want to take the subway.
