I’m a freelance illustrator and designer from the UK working in the realms of vector illustration, photo montage and manipulation, and mixed media. My work is influenced by contemporary graffiti and lowbrow art, along with almost anything from the natural world. As well as the great outdoors, I gain inspiration from the more bizarre world of humans. Walking around antiques shops is a favourite. It’s like a sensory overload a lot of the time.
FOR CREATIVE INSPIRATION
In partnership with our friends at Optus, we present the third in a three part Lost At E Minor video series that puts the spotlight on some young, handpicked Australian creatives, doing inspirational things within their chosen fields. Episode Three features 16-year old Melbourne-based producer, Gab Strum (aka Japanese Wallpaper), who has racked up thousands of plays over the past year or so via a number of well-blogged remixes ranging from City Calm Down and The Townhouses to bootlegs of The xx and Bon Iver.
