Built in 1894, Mai Manó House in Budapest is officially the oldest dedicated house of photography in Europe. And perhaps the world. It was turned into a commercial and residential building for a few years after the Second World War, but was resurrected as a space for photography in 1998.
FOR CREATIVE INSPIRATION
In partnership with our friends at Optus, we present the third in a three part Lost At E Minor video series that puts the spotlight on some young, handpicked Australian creatives, doing inspirational things within their chosen fields. Episode Three features 16-year old Melbourne-based producer, Gab Strum (aka Japanese Wallpaper), who has racked up thousands of plays over the past year or so via a number of well-blogged remixes ranging from City Calm Down and The Townhouses to bootlegs of The xx and Bon Iver.
