In the midst of all the apprehension and panic about the current world events we see on TV and in printed media, The LOVE POLICE intervene on our daily toil with a fresh perspective. And they are about to get hits, a lot of hits. Danny and Charles have injected us with an inoculation against the tyranny of the tube, and I for one, am interested. A bunch of British researchers with time and money on their hands have created a printer that prints 3D designs in chocolate.

I love the interesting lines and clever use of sustainable materials found in the Klein Bottle House, a holiday place in Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula. The architects, McBride Charles Ryan, based the design around the concept of the Klein Bottle, ‘a descriptive model of a surface developed by topological mathematicians’. Read more
Illustrator and artist John Malloy has been working on a graphic novel called Channel One and, without wanting to sound too much like Paris Hilton, it’s looking pretty damn hot. Update! As of July 2009, John Malloy has aborted the graphic novel Channel One to focus more on other projects, including his autobiographical graphic novel, Queasy. Stay tuned for details. Read more
My roommate Adam and I have been playing Mark McGuire’s album, Pocket Full of Rain, all summer and some other tapes our other roommate has showed us that he did. I really like everything this guy has done. I sit and watch him play guitar on YouTube when I’m bored.

These delicate sterling silver earrings have two hand hammered layers of silver with a soft white finish. In the center of each earring is a small peach moonstone. These earrings hang flatteringly close to the face on small sterling silver ear wires. Each earring measures 0.75 inches in diameter.
