The dynamic and interesting metropolis of Chicago was the epicenter of a huge phenomena early this month. Heavy storms of rock and roll mixed with indie winds and intense electro sun rays smashed Grant Park. More than 250,000 people were reported wearing wristbands, fashionista hats, sunglasses and shorts. They danced for three days, non-stop. Ouch! I’m sure divorce is painful, but this guillotine ring, aka the Divorce Ring, puts a more painful chop on it all. This fun piece of kinetic jewellery was designed by Kest Schwartzman.
The Lost Type Co-Op distributes beautiful fonts from designers all over the world. You can name your own price (there’s even the option to pay $0, if you feel so inclined) and 100 percent of what you pay goes straight to the starving typographer who created the font.

The latest project of former punk rock drummer Andreas Asingh from Copenhagen, I literally stumbled across Small through my participation at the By:Larm music conference in Oslo. As one of the many up-and-coming bands in Denmark, their sound is a cross between M83, Remote, and Giorgio Moroder; captivating and adventurous, and full of strong melodies.

Having just finished a collaboration with Marchesa, jewellery designer Pamela Love’s gothic-inspired line has been picked up by the likes of Erin Wasson, among other celebrity fans. Referencing both nature and science, Love has created a line that is both rock n’ roll and earthy, with talons, claws, peacocks, rams and bear heads all featuring heavily.
