San Francisco illustrator and fine artist Lisa Congdon was raised in both upstate New York and Northern California, where she grew to love the trees and animals that surrounded her. That love is now expressed through her paintings and drawings. 

Her work is fun, colorful and expressive. Lisa is also an avid and prolific collector and has published a book of her collections entitled, “A Collection a Day”. She collects pretty much everything from small toys and erasers to those little plastic squares that close bags of bread. I have tons of those, Lisa, if you want – I knew they had a higher purpose.

San Francisco artist Lisa Congdon was looking to try something different from her regular illustration work. So she looked around her studio and realized that she had enough items to photograph and document every single day.

From that came A Collection A Day, which is a book and website showing 365 of Congdon’s collections. Covering everything from old family photos, school globes, to scout patches.
