Any artist who knows how to make apt use of impasto paint strokes gets brownie points from me. Lesley Vance is one of them. He leaves a lot of room for individual imaginations to fly and interpret his subjects in each painting. Can you see a cat, human figures or a just a combination of erratic lines in every abstract piece?
