Any artist who knows how to make apt use of impasto paint strokes gets brownie points from me. Lesley Vance is one of them. He leaves a lot of room for individual imaginations to fly and interpret his subjects in each painting. Can you see a cat, human figures or a just a combination of erratic lines in every abstract piece?
FOR CREATIVE INSPIRATION
In partnership with our friends at Optus, we present the third in a three part Lost At E Minor video series that puts the spotlight on some young, handpicked Australian creatives, doing inspirational things within their chosen fields. Episode Three features 16-year old Melbourne-based producer, Gab Strum (aka Japanese Wallpaper), who has racked up thousands of plays over the past year or so via a number of well-blogged remixes ranging from City Calm Down and The Townhouses to bootlegs of The xx and Bon Iver.
