This is my new book, Everybody Dies: A Children’s Book for Grown Ups. It’s my first full book, and it took me about 14 months to write and illustrate it. It was hard work and it’s very gratifying to finally see it in print.

Layla Lane are one of my favorite new Japanese pop bands. Perhapds they are better described as international pop, since they are a Japanese/Western duo. There’s a happy, bounciness to their music that always makes me smile. The above video is directed by up-and-coming Japanese director, Ken Ochia.
