Judy Fox’s figurative sculptures look almost real, but unlike many of her contemporaries, she uses more traditional materials and methods to create them. Using terra cota and casien, Fox renders figures from world religions and folklore as vulnerable (her figures are all nude, and many of them are children) yet still somehow majestic characters.
I love the vibrant colours and slippery energy in Japanese artist Aki Matsumoto’s beautiful seaweed art.
Argentinean-born illustrator Santiago Caruso uses surrealist-gothic imagery and an array of carefully constructed elements to explore the darker side of our imaginations. Read more
Having originally sprung from the Shaky Isles (otherwise known as New Zealand), I can appreciate the humour in the New Zealand cartoon series, Bro Town, the first homegrown animated series to screen during local prime time. It’s simply brilliant, a real play on the ‘thuck’ accent and small town ways of our Kiwi brethren.
Itdrewitself had the honor of visiting with the legendary Ron English — an occasional Lost At E Minor contributor — at his home in Poughkeepsie, New York, last month, and had an amazing time rummaging through his studio, photographing endless amounts of paintings and sculptures. Ok, so I’m wearing this sweater right now. How could I not. The damn thing shares the same name as me. Well, kinda. My parents threw in an ‘o’ into my name just to confuse the life out of people. But that’s a whole another story. The Zoltan is comfortable, soft, and colorful. It has ‘no fortune-telling capabilities’, but the ‘lightweight progressive color stripe scheme has an undeniably funky 70s vibe’. And it does. Yeeha. Now, where the hell is my bell bottoms and Grateful Dead vinyl?

Italian brand Brionvega has resurrected the classy Radiofonografio piece first created in 1965. The updated version is just like the original turntable/radio unit, but also has a CD/DVD player.
The Arquebus Clothing Brand, based in Brooklyn, is dedicated to designs that are self-expressive and meaningful through imagery or typography. They are bold, positive, inspirational, motivational, witty, philosophical and very wearable. We love these pieces inspired by nature, history, and everyday living.
