South African artist The Flying Dutchman has been quietly honing his visual rhetoric for almost two decades and has no particular niche, opting rather for frequent direction changes in order to combat stagnation. As something of an journalistic artist, he documents everything around him, including the development of internal narratives, stories that will eventually find their own feet and continue without him.
