You might not know this, but Johnny Cash’s classic I’ve Been Everywhere was actually written by Aussie country singer Geoff Mack back in 1959. The song originally listed Australian towns (known for their… uniqueness!) but Cash took this song and made it his own in 1996.
I don’t know why I love Danzig so much. Everything he embodies: the machismo, the predilection for strippers and fake boobs, the meat-head attitude towards everything – is the opposite of me, but still, I’ve always loved his music. I think the Misfits were one of the greatest rock bands of all time, and I love Samhain and most of his solo stuff, even his recent album, Deth Red Sabaoth.
