Joele Carlier created this fun and quirky design for popping kernels, after taking inspiration from Willy Wonka’s quote ‘Come with me, and you’ll be in a world of pure imagination’.

Hymen Lipman might have had an unfortunate name, but this man unleashed great creativity back in 1858 with his U.S. Patent 19,783. It was a patent registering the very first pencil with an attached eraser. Before then, pencils only came without erasers, but this man’s genius idea sparked a business idea that soon most pencil manufacturers were employing.

Italian Giuseppe Colarusso has come up with inventions that would completely not help mankind achieve world peace. He has created useless objects such as a square rolling pin, a sink with no drain, and a ping pong paddle with a hole in the middle. These creations demonstrate the deconstruction of each objects true purpose. It’s a humorously pointless twist on everyday life.
