When it comes to armour for digits, fiercely stark designs always get me. Lebanese designer Margherita (Ghita) Abi-Hanna strikes just the right cavalry note with sterling silver rings that come with folded leather (if only this was vegan!) neatly locked into place by brass screws.
We Make Carpets are designers Stijn van der Vleuten and Marcia Nolte and visual artist Bob Waardenburg. They create weird and wonderful carpets from objects that you’d more likely find in a pantry or kid’s bedroom. Comfortable? No. Practical? No. But, really, who give a damn. Read more

I interviewed the mysterious Suitman some time ago for the Australian magazine, Riot. Even then it was clear that, with his immaculately pressed suit and crisp white shirts, he was an icon – both stylistically and conceptually.
