When I was asked to DJ for Betsey Johnson at NY Fashion Week this spring, I thought it was time I sprung for a new set of headphones. I wanted quality, but something a little more discreet than the usual RoboCop shiny plastic jobees. What I found was perfect: the new-ish TMA-1′s by AIAIAI. Designed with input from badasses like Warp’s Hudson Mohawke and tested and used by some of my favorite artists: James Murphy, Ellen Allien, Hot Chip, and others.

Martin and Youle are British artists now based in Nantes, France. I got to know them through Hot Chip (Bevis is Felix Martin’s brother) and Charlie designed the cover for my first single (Nitemoves/Wallflowers).
