Lisa Hix has an interesting interview with artist/graphic designer Allister Lee up over at collectors weekly. Lee has a collection of around 600 black magic markers, each one of which he sketches. When he gets to 1,000 markers, he intends to submit to the Guiness Book of World Records.
FOR CREATIVE INSPIRATION
In partnership with our friends at Optus, we present the third in a three part Lost At E Minor video series that puts the spotlight on some young, handpicked Australian creatives, doing inspirational things within their chosen fields. Episode Three features 16-year old Melbourne-based producer, Gab Strum (aka Japanese Wallpaper), who has racked up thousands of plays over the past year or so via a number of well-blogged remixes ranging from City Calm Down and The Townhouses to bootlegs of The xx and Bon Iver.
