I’ve been searching for the artist of the clever Day Of The Dead Presidents piece since it flashed past me somewhere last year. Luckily Brighton based Illustrator Matt Taylor has just contributed to Graniph, throwing his work back into the spotlight. Along with National Geographic Taylor is influenced by comic books. There’s a definite Paul Pope vibe in some of his more detailed pieces.

Says site founder Justin Greenwood: ‘As well as stocking some of the more well known brands, we also import a lot of labels exclusively from America, and produce a small range of our own clothing. Wow! So whilst Australia is quickly becoming known for its Ed Banger-styled modular stream of music, there is a little known Brisbane artist called Yeo Choong who is just insanely talented. His music is full of summer fun and Kanye West-Phoenix influences. Take my word on it, this is going to be Australia’s next answer to Sam Sparro, Mika or even Jamie Lidel, and he is only 21 years-old.
