I don’t know what or why Lasagna Cat is, and in a lot of ways, that’s not important.

I was ready to hate on People of Da Hood for being another racist, classist meme blog making fun of poor people, but it’s actually mostly just pictures of weird-looking people doing weird things. Some of the images I don’t even really get, like the guy shoveling sand/salt onto icy roads out of the back of truck. Why is that funny? Am I missing something?

The tagline on the This Is Indexed blog says that its little graphical representations of interesting or funny everyday correlations are published ‘weekday mornings as the coffee brews’. Really, the perfect time for a petit-four-sized bit of life analysis. Some days are better than others, but I’ve found myself going there often for a little something to start my day off with an interesting thought.

My Kid Is Gifted is a site where people share hilarious and gifted kid stories and sayings. It’s aditcive and nearly impossible to not crack a smile at the adorableness of it all.

For the whole month of November, USC art student Marc Horowitz will be taking the advice of strangers. In this brilliant project, you, the viewer, have the power to choose what Horowitz will do. Decisions range from ‘I’ve wanted an egg roll for over a year now. How should I indulge?’ to ‘What should I present in my USC MFA crit class tomorrow?’

The results are documented in either photo or video form and are usually very funny. Based off of the decisions made, it seems that the viewer enjoys watching Horowitz act-out the most random of the choices, making me wonder what would happen if I did everything that I was told to do? Luckily, I’m not that compliant

With the mid-term elections this week, the American people have spoken, loudly, and it wasn’t exactly music to the ears of the incumbent President. This website offers a rotating barrage of achievements that the Obama administration have actually rung in, but that have been lost amongst the fearmongering rhetoric of the Tea Party movement.

All hail the magic 8-ball of cooking; the answer to those painful moments of indecision that plague every shopper at around 6pm on a hectic Monday evening.
