This is a comprehensive collection of only the best design jargon bullshit. It’s a good laugh if nothing else. One of my favorites is the ridiculous phrase used to sell the Instagram logo. The blog describes itself with this phrase: ‘This blog ensures focus and consensus whilst encouraging maximum creative flexibility across multiple touchpoints’. It’s just more jargon bullshit from the masters themselves.

My friend forwarded me this website recently and I found it pretty incredible. Awards are offered to the shittiest photo submitted. From an anthropological perspective, this site certainly makes me feel closer to London. At an eye’s view, these images capture life in the city that we see but leave unexposed below the cosmopolitan radar. It is these places that bring out London’s multidimensional urbanity.

The one thing that gets me going just as much as listening to or playing music is the visual identity of it all – most specifically, album cover artwork. I am a sucker for a great record cover, and over the years, I have bought albums based solely on the artwork.

Though that method doesn’t always work out from an audio standpoint, it’s never a total letdown because you still have this great piece of art on your hands. This blog is a searchable database of album art porn (if you’re into that sort of thing). I can spend hours sifting through it and, although it’s not quite as updated as it once was, I think it’s worth a visit.
