If you want to be destructive, you better be creative at it. This may sound to some of you like an oxymoron, but it’s apparently not. I love these beautifully executed hate mail postcards by Mr Bingo for the very fact that he’s managed to turn something so negative into something that is fun.

He explains on his website how the project itself came to life: ‘Last year I sent a postcard to a stranger called Jonathan Hopkins. It said on it “F*ck you Jonathan, f*ck you and f*ck your sh*t legs”. People seemed to be into it so I opened a service on my website, inviting strangers to pay me in return for an offensive postcard addressed to them (or whoever they ordered it for).I persevered with the project and now with over 400 ‘Hate Mails’ under my belt’.

The police are known pranksters, handing outtickets for no reason, converting tax money into donuts etc. The Vermont State Police found out that they where pranked: a pig was pictured very subtle in the logo on 30 of their cruisers (one of the spots on the cow). It turned out an inmate working in the print shop of Northwest State Correctional Facility modified the printing-program. NYC design label Kikkerland modified police badges into beer-openers: ‘Police, open up’.

This picture, purportedly one of a stingray photobombing a trio of horrified swimmers in the Cayman Islands, has been repeatedly hailed in the past week as the greatest animal photobomb of all time. Apparently the stingray had a bit of a help with the photographer (see that telltale human scalp on top of the stingray?) propping it up against their backs. Still, this majestic sea beast did look mighty pleased to have its picture taken. Shame about these photobombing tourists angling for I-was-here pictures and getting in its way, then. What is the world coming to?
