Roadkill is a project snapped in the midst of a cold rainy forest with a Fujifilm single use camera. Inspired by Finnish Autumn, and a friend who does the best impression of a moose crossing the road. My work is not only about documenting something but about the desperate attempt of becoming what I document, and thus exploring the delicate line between comedy and tragedy.
FOR CREATIVE INSPIRATION
In partnership with our friends at Optus, we present the third in a three part Lost At E Minor video series that puts the spotlight on some young, handpicked Australian creatives, doing inspirational things within their chosen fields. Episode Three features 16-year old Melbourne-based producer, Gab Strum (aka Japanese Wallpaper), who has racked up thousands of plays over the past year or so via a number of well-blogged remixes ranging from City Calm Down and The Townhouses to bootlegs of The xx and Bon Iver.
