Sunderland-based, The Futureheads, are thrilled to announce the stateside release of The Chaos set to drop June 1 via New York-based indie label, Dovecote Records. The Chaos is a screaming, visceral rock and roll response to our current world, and a wild, thrilling ride from start to finish. Langhorne Slim’s forthcoming release is called Be Set Free and will be out in late September. This track off it, I Love You, But Goodbye, is beautiful, cinematic and cohesive, with gut-wrenching lyrics and a simple but sweet melody. It’s been a while since we last checked in with one of our favourite illustrators, New York based Tomer Hanuka. His work is like the first rays of morning light on the fifth day of a week long vacation — easy on the eye but brimming with nervous anticipation.

Is the soul colored or is it black and white? I find this quite confusing, since I believe that a colored soul is necessary for producing colored things. I wasn’t aware of who Emilio Pucci was until my work was compared to his for the hundredth time. I’m happy to have anyone make that connection. I’m not a high fashion person. I keep to the basics and feel alright about it. The introduction to his work was mind blowing for me. Not only for the rich colors and patterns, but how those things worked with the human form. It was an interesting revelation, and one that has sparked more interest for me to explore fashion as a medium for art.
