Here is an astounding performance of Shake it Out: captivating, breathtaking and beautiful. I have surrendered my initial apprehension due to Florence Welch’s face-shattering voice and instead embraced it with open arms. I wish to marry her one day.

There is no denying that Florence and the Machine’s You Got The Love was an instant classic the day it was released. Le CO2eux Soireé is a more intimate version of Stella Artois’ Recyclage de Luxe show, launched last autumn. The show was presented by avant-garde, eco-chic personality Alain du Monde who also co-hosts Le CO2eux Soireé. It featured Florence and the Machine alongside several eccentric guests who shared tips on how to please Mother Nature – the show’s muse – whilst maintaining a chic lifestyle. Read more

One of our favourite acts, Florence + The Machine, have made a video for Stella Artois performing at a Variety Show set in 1960s Europe. Called Recyclage de Luxe, the Variety Show showcases the idea that you can be green and stylish at the same time. ‘Live’ from 1963 and introducing the electronic guitar, Alain du Monde presents the sound of the future.
We asked Matthew ‘Woody’ Woodley, drummer and vocalist with Montreal group, Plants & Animals, which bands he thinks are doing interesting things right now and he gave us the following list: ‘Grizzly Bear, Malajube, Yeasayer, Metro League and the guys in the Patrick Watson band’. To read about Woody’s favorite songs right now, check out his recent Secret Playlist.

Ten Masked Men are a British parody band that does death metal covers of famous pop songs by Ricky Martin, Christina Aguilera, Madonna, and many others. One of my favorites is their cover of Justin Timberlake’s ‘Cry Me a River’. It’s epic.

I’ve seen a lot of strange things on the Internet, but this Tumblr just baffles me. It’s called Animals with Casts, and it’s exactly what it sounds like. Picture after picture of different animals wearing casts. Read more
The Futurebirds are an unruly band of boys from Athens, Georgia, but they might as well have been reared in the backwoods of Woodstock by Levon Helm himself. Their debut release, Hampton’s Lullaby, is out on July 13 via Autumn Tone Records.

Really dig the Lovecraft vibe of this Capriole collection by Iris van Herpen. The weird wormy thing looks like a painting I did inspired by by Yog Sathoth.
