This beautiful clip for the Australian band Firekites consists of 1910 individual chalk drawings. It took co-directors Lucinda Schreiber and Yanni Kronenberg six-months to complete the project from start to finish. Every day, after shooting, their bodies and laptops were covered in chalk dust. Looking at the end result, though, I’m sure it was all worth it.
Jerod Gibson is a graphic designer from Wisconsin. He has created a lovely series of 37 minimalist posters. Each contains a simple silhouette image from a movie or television show and is filled with quotes from it. What a lovely typography idea! Read more

The urban planning for Dubai increasingly has the city looking more and more like a still out of a Jetsens episode. The futuristic architecture that charcterises its evolution is pushing the boundaries of design, the buildings climbing ever upwards with their blindingly original facades. Apparently Dubai is home to between 15 and 25 percent of the world’s 125,000 construction cranes, which is hardly surprising. This image above is a sneak preview of how the famed Dubai waterfront will look in a few years time.

Baltimore Mural by Josh Van Horne
My friend Josh Van Horne, a local Baltimore artist, did this amazing mural in our neighborhood that depicts the history of this warehouse-laden area.
Get lost in a daydream or a craving for something sweet while gazing at these cool sculptures by Brooklyn-based WiNK WiNK PONY. Made using clay, tree bark, wood, and mossy moss.
A little infectious lollipop rock anyone? Feel free to embarrass yourself singing along at the stoplight. If the other drivers give you that look, roll down the windows and spread the love.
