There’s nothing crazy about fanart, just with Nicky Barkla. Well known characters, turn psychedelic creations, exploding the color spectrum and our loveable icons portray a whole new persona. A tasteful contradiction, if you will. I came across the art through one of the many links flooding the Internet. I’m seeing new colors in my day from this point on.
FOR CREATIVE INSPIRATION
In partnership with our friends at Optus, we present the third in a three part Lost At E Minor video series that puts the spotlight on some young, handpicked Australian creatives, doing inspirational things within their chosen fields. Episode Three features 16-year old Melbourne-based producer, Gab Strum (aka Japanese Wallpaper), who has racked up thousands of plays over the past year or so via a number of well-blogged remixes ranging from City Calm Down and The Townhouses to bootlegs of The xx and Bon Iver.
