How does an artist like Ed Fairburn look at a map and see someone’s face in there? Oh, we get it, he picks up a pen and inks that damn face in between these fine lines of roads and streets, that’s how. His face map portraits are complex and stunning works of visual poetry, and we’re so in awe we’re going to have to find a way to top up some fast.

Eclectix has a great online exhibition up with art related to flesh. Human flesh, that is! Portraits, figurative works, skin art, you name it, with works including Heidi Taillefer’s surreal bodies, Sean Cheetham’s gorgeous portraits, and Ron Mueck’s giants.
