How can you go wrong with a blog that has a recording called Listen To Me Wearing Dentures? The site is Recordo Obscura, where I found a version of Edgar Allan Poe’s, The Tell-Tale Heart, from a department store Halloween record I owned as a kid. This story in particular freaked me out, probably because of the idea of ‘madness’ rather than a ghost or monster. So I listened to it endlessly while staring at the lady with the snakes in her hair.
