The Dykeenies, an indie rock band from Scotland, are well-established in the underground scene. If you discover some of their early stripped down and raw acoustic tracks, the quality is obvious: many songs sound even better than the mastered versions on their first album. This video epitomises what they are all about.
FOR CREATIVE INSPIRATION
In partnership with our friends at Optus, we present the third in a three part Lost At E Minor video series that puts the spotlight on some young, handpicked Australian creatives, doing inspirational things within their chosen fields. Episode Three features 16-year old Melbourne-based producer, Gab Strum (aka Japanese Wallpaper), who has racked up thousands of plays over the past year or so via a number of well-blogged remixes ranging from City Calm Down and The Townhouses to bootlegs of The xx and Bon Iver.
