Most podcasts, documentaries, books, films, and images I’m interested these days tend to focus on space travel: leaving our Earth to populate other planets or the end of our world as we know it. It’s fun to remix the innocent 1950s ideals of family and the home with such disasters – man-made or not.

Recently, I’ve taken to creating such false realities in my artwork, playing with scale or twisting the location of a scene and juxtaposing seemingly jarring images together to create something more than the sum of its parts. As a result, my latest series of work usually depcits the final days of Man on Earth, with the people appearing nonchalant to what’s actually happening.
