Dinosaur Jr. is back with a surprisingly righteous record, I Bet On Sky. Not since the early days of JayLouMurphdom has a Dino album been this solid. The previous 2 releases since the regrouping of the original 3 members in 2005 seemed a bit rushed and created out of pure duty, but ‘I Bet On Sky’ recaptures the organic songwriting and classic sound that one of indie rock’s most important trios has to blast forth. Yep, they still got it.
