If you’re into the design scene at all, you may already be familiar with the top-end work that this multi-disciplinary French studio produces. But if you aren’t, Ill Studio have their own evolving style encompassing creative areas such as art-direction, graphic design, photography, typography and motion design.
Influenced by the subtle use of symbols, I use the art of printmaking to convey subconscious imagery through the form of multiples. Pulling inspiration from Jungian psychology and mythology, my art presents iconic visuals shrouded in simplistic mystery.
These are beautiful trays for special occasions and for lavish receptions. These legendary figures, adorned with amazing fabrics of velvet, damask or starched ruffs, hang on the walls of our drawing rooms, like a gallery of famous ancestors.
If jeans were a drug, then Dr Denim’s would indubitably be my drug of choice. But better yet, our favourite Doc’s designs just keep getting cooler and, well … finer.
