Inspired by the Folies Bergères of Paris, the Ziegfeld Follies were a series of elaborate and theatrical Broadway productions between 1907 and 1931. They were lavish revues featuring many of the top entertainers of the era and were famous for their beautiful chorus girls, commonly known as ‘Ziegfeld girls’.
FOR CREATIVE INSPIRATION
In partnership with our friends at Optus, we present the third in a three part Lost At E Minor video series that puts the spotlight on some young, handpicked Australian creatives, doing inspirational things within their chosen fields. Episode Three features 16-year old Melbourne-based producer, Gab Strum (aka Japanese Wallpaper), who has racked up thousands of plays over the past year or so via a number of well-blogged remixes ranging from City Calm Down and The Townhouses to bootlegs of The xx and Bon Iver.
