I’ve always found origami to be a very precise and sterile art form. However, looking at these pieces by Nguyễn Hùng Cường I see a whole new world of amazing possibilities in terms of fluidity, colour and interesting textures. Brilliant stuff.
Bookworms can ruffle their pages in celebration because librarian Heather Hajek Eddy has found a use for all those weeded library books! By manipulating the pages with careful repositioning, she is even able to spell out words. Let’s not be too loud though, because it just might say, “shush!”
