Now there are mugs that come with gross coffee stains and lipstick marks printed to make sure these same criminal minds never want to drink from them. Well, unless they’re total slobs.

Andy Smith is an illustrator with skills. His work combines illustration and typography to create images that have humour, energy and optimism, and all are executed with a hand-made, hand-printed, tactile feel. He designed these four mugs for his friends at outdoor company Alpkit. Each mug shows a creature tangling with explorers. I love them.
