When I first saw the photos for the interior of the OWEN Boutique store, I was amazed. Created by an architecture firm called Tacklebox, they designed and hand-built the boutique’s surface from floor to ceiling with 25,000 brown paper bags to replicate a honeycomb-like structure. Tacklebox reclaims common, ordinary, or overlooked materials and use them in an extraordinary way to foster a sense of timelessness.

I love tattoos. On my quest to find inspiration for a particular tattoo I found on the Internet, I stumbled across Hus & Hem completely out of nowhere. As an admirer of antlers in a home or work space, I’m always looking for a substitute for an actual animal that is fun. London-based Archipod have reinvented the idea of the home office, shifting it to the backyard and encasing it in a distinctive coating that hides a lavish interior set-up including an ergonomic semicircular computer desk, concealed background mood lighting, electric heater, smoke alarm, data ports and electrical outlets. The Pod is an insulated sphere of approximately 3 metres in diameter.

Today and Tomorrow just posted this sweet clock designed by Art. Lebedev Studio that form digits via 60 little rotating mirrors that bounce a laser beam. The design and concept seem really retro-futuristic, and would have been a great set piece for Back to the Future II.
