Hooray for children’s books. In the 1970s, Big Bird’s Busy Book was published, including a page dedicated to Cookie Monster’s family recipe for cookies. While there’s a lack of baking instructions after making the cookie dough (doh!), it appears that baking at 400 degrees with 1/4 inch thick cookies works very well.
