Made of cement, with what looks like steps of stairs on the clock face, a little bit of time passes with every step the clock hands walk. Super zen. Heavy stuff, too.

I have a thing for vinyl, so I don’t ever see myself recycling my record player. But I really like the idea Stuff Made From Stuff had. They’ve turned a Sanyo turntable into a fashionable looking wall clock. In fact, when you browse through their online shop, you will find all kinds of funny recycled clocks, such as the Hard-Drive clock, the Old Magnetic Tape Reel clock, and the Mac G3 Computer Motherboard clock (including harddrive and mouse). What a fine way of making use of outdated spare parts.

Today and Tomorrow just posted this sweet clock designed by Art. Lebedev Studio that form digits via 60 little rotating mirrors that bounce a laser beam. The design and concept seem really retro-futuristic, and would have been a great set piece for Back to the Future II.
