I’ve known/known of Mike Mitchell for quite a few years now. He’s a great example of where long hours and dedication can get you. Mitchell was responsible for creating the digital painting of Conan O’Brien that sparked the Team Coco brand. He is an outstanding portrait painter and has a knack for giving a visual voice to current affairs and pop culture trends. Mitchell has done work for popular TV stars Rainn Wilson, as well as Aziz Ansari.
FOR CREATIVE INSPIRATION
In partnership with our friends at Optus, we present the third in a three part Lost At E Minor video series that puts the spotlight on some young, handpicked Australian creatives, doing inspirational things within their chosen fields. Episode Three features 16-year old Melbourne-based producer, Gab Strum (aka Japanese Wallpaper), who has racked up thousands of plays over the past year or so via a number of well-blogged remixes ranging from City Calm Down and The Townhouses to bootlegs of The xx and Bon Iver.
