Tinkering with nothing more than an exacto knife, some packing tape and plastic sheets, it takes wrapping his work around street lamps to see the pieces in all their glory as the complex layers of slicing and shading formations take their full effect.

This remarkable looking building is a ‘meeting and starting point for visitors wanting to explore the new Rheinauhafen harbour’ in Cologne. The construction is 70 meters long, 34 meters wide and more than 60 meters high and is the work of architect Hadi Teherani, who conceptualized the project alongside fellow architect, Alfons Linster.
