While driving from Germany to Austria, an Irish woman named Lillian realised she had been drinking from a Coke can as she crossed the border, and decided to start collecting Coca-Cola cans from all around the world. That was 28 years ago.
There’s a bunch of no-sugar diet plans making the rounds on social media, but one man is doing the complete opposite. Calling his ‘experiment’ 10 Cokes A Day, George Prior plans to drink (as the title indicates) 10 cans of Coke a day. No Diet Coke, no Coke Zero-just full-strength sugary Coke (and Cherry Coke). It’s a health experiment that will take 30 days to complete. He’s already started and the weight gain is quite significant: 16 pounds in the first 21 days and a body fat increase of 60 percent!
Artist Matt W. Moore worked with agency Attik on the Coca-Cola branding for the 2012 London Olympics. The designs will be applied to Coke aluminium bottles, cans, plastic bottles and other promotions, all featuring the whimsical, bold, colourful abstract graphic renditions celebrating the games from the visual identity system, developed by MWM and Attik.
Coca-Cola Light is getting a new, more sophisticated attire. The soft drink is teaming up with Italian fashion house Gianfranco Ferre to create this new packaging. These four Coca-Cola Light bottles will be released in the coming weeks. Tasty? Well, at least the packaging is.
