There is something very eloquent about a film montage titled ‘An Eloquent Conversation with Clint Eastwood’, especially when it involves Clint Eastwood putting on his silent squint in reaction to every person who tries to strike up a meaningful conversation. It happens over and over again. Clint Eastwood’s on-screen persona clearly has issues.
Yelle’s La Musique is a twisted animated disaster romp full of pop stars, movie icons, parrots, tsunamis, flying popsicles, and dancing polar bears. Throw in a little Pam Anderson, Clint Eastwood, Phil Collins and I, think, even Peirce Brosnan playing a flute! It’s a total trip and is out now on Kitsune.
