Eww Yaboo are an indie rock quartet from the humble coal town of Wilkes Barre, PA (Sugar Notch, to be exact), located in the Northeastern section of state. A hard working and economically depressed region, which I hail from as well.

They are a high-energy group and I had the pleasure of releasing their debut 7” EP, Yeah, What?, last year on my label Summersteps Records and almost snagged a spot on the soundtrack for the last Twilight movie. This is their follow up, a two song EP that celebrates Christmas in a less obvious way than most holiday music. Download it at the Summersteps Records bandcamp site or iTunes.

Ever since last Christmas I wanted to record a Christmas tune, and of course, do it my way. I even started one up but didn’t finish. But this year I was determined to do so. So I started recording Winter Wonderland a couple of weeks ago in my downtown New York apartment studio. What came out is what I’ve nicknamed Walkin’ In An Indie Wonderland. So consider this indie alternative to the standard a gift to fans, friends and music lovers.
