The Seattle based singer-songwriter Sera Cahoone has a beautifully lulling voice, sleepy and dusky. I was able to see her in Chapel Hill and spoke with the band members for a while. Super fun, sweet people, altogether a wonderful night rapt in fantastic music.

Chapel Hill-based printmaker Bill Fick makes awesomely grotesque faces and creatures with linocuts, silkscreens, and tempera paint. They have a vintage feel to them, as if the rotted remains ’50s advertising images have risen from the dead.
